Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Diesel Service Technician to join our team, providing repair services for commercial vehicles from major manufacturers such as Freightliner, International, Volvo, Paccar and more. The ideal candidate possesses mechanical knowledge, hands-on experience with diesel engines, and the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot. This role also offers the opportunity to learn from experienced technicians in the industry by working with our team members that are willing to share knowledge.

Duties

• Perform repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, suspension systems, and air brake systems.
• Conduct maintenance such as oil changes, shocks & struts replacement and brake repairs.
• Utilize schematics and technical manuals to accurately diagnose issues.
• Assemble or disassemble machinery for inspection or repair purposes.
• Maintain documentation of repairs performed.

Experience

• Background in heavy equipment repair.
• Hands-on experience with major truck engine manufactures such as Cummins, Paccar, Daimler and more.
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing devices.
• Knowledge of schematics for electrical systems, hydraulics, HVAC systems, transmissions, and vehicle maintenance.
• Experience working with air brakes, suspension components, shocks & struts.
• Previous service technician experience in a dealership or industrial setting is highly desirable.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during repairs or installations. This position requires a motivated individual with problem solving skills to deliver quality service on commercial vehicles.
